Kathy Corrigan

Finding Hope and Healing After the death of a child

Kathy Corrigan is married, a mother of three and lives in Poughkeepsie, NY. She was a private school teacher and administrator for 20 years and is now retired. She is currently a Reiki Master/practitioner and teaches Reiki classes being the sole proprietor of her business, Libra Moon Healing Arts.

In June 1995, her world and that of her family was turned upside down when their middle son/brother, Michael, died suddenly at the age of 21 from undiagnosed pancreatitis while away at college.

Kathy has been the leader/facilitator of the Mid Hudson Bereaved Parents of the USA Chapter in Poughkeepsie NY since 2003. She joined the National Board of Directors in 2015 and she is currently the Board President.

She has 22 years of grieving experience and has moved her way through despair and hopelessness to find meaning and peace after the death of her son.
